Race Report #4 - 11 p.m.
Flying Lizard guest driver Patrick Long drove a double stint during which he turned the quickest GT race lap of the day with a time of 1:56.8 around the 3.56-mile circuit. He did this on 20 lap tires and in the process gained two positions during his double stint.
Long brought the car in around 9 p.m. and handed over the Porsche to co-driver Johannes van Overbeek. The crew changed all four tires and refueled. About a half hour into his stint, van Overbeek brought the car in due to flat tire and bent wheel.
During van Overbeek's stint, he moved the car to 20th position in GT class. He was brought in under a full course yellow for a pit stop of tires, fuel and front brakes. Lonnie Pechnik took over driving duties.
Since being back on track after the afternoon's incident and being off track for almost an hour, the Lizards have consistently been running between two and10 seconds faster than the rest of the GT field.
